What is it?

A QR (Quick Response) Code is a pictogram made of small black squares, it is a two-dimensional barcode that can be scanned by mobile phones*.

Operating it is simple, the user must have already equipped his phone with the correct storing application (ex.Apple store, Blackberry App world,…) then he can download the free application (ex Mobiletag, Scanit,…) that will allow him to read this code. Once he has downloaded this app, the user will simply have to activate it and use it to “flash” or “tag” the code. Once read, this code allows to open a website, a utility program, to download a business card…, applications are multipurpose.

For instance, it offers direct and free access to all the FRAYSSINET website information (products, services, SDS’s,…).

Indispensable: 1 Smartphone of the Iphone type, Blackberry, Samsung, Nokia type, new generation phones equipped with internet connection and storing application.

How does it work?

On any document where a QR code appears, (1) after opening your QR code scanner application, set your Smartphone on camera mode over the QR code, it then immediately directs you to the concerned internet page (3). The handling may slightly differ according to the different QR code models.
