Company History

Commitment and values for five generations

At the very moment when French agriculture is facing a real cultural revolution, « moved by international competition on the one hand, and by social and environmental requirements on the other », Groupe Frayssinet, have been considering their trade responsibly more than ever. Nonetheless, « feeding the earth and protecting her » have always been dear to the heart of this family since the first generations. In 1970, Jacques and Annie Frayssinet founded the company Phalippou-Frayssinet, succeeding Phalippou and Sons which had taken over Phalippou Brothers. All the company sales were then made through distribution networks specialised in the fields of agriculture, green spaces or gardening. Basically, Jacques Frayssinet developed the commitments and values commended by Phalippou-Frayssinet in terms of soil organic fertilization and plants natural stimulators. He was the guide and the authority to an approach with a simple object : the growth and accomplishment of the company as well as its descendants and participants.

March 2007, 137 years and 5 generations later, Luc and Thierry Frayssinet pledged their name and reputation by officially founding Groupe Frayssinet. Their top priorities are : strengthening the groupe and subsidiary companies structure, carrying on coherent evolution, encouraging new acquisitions, and developing on the export market with OSIRYL, the first and only natural plant growth stimulator, approved by the Ministère de L’Agriculture.
